Mmmm....FOOD!

Well tonight was FOODFEST at school. This event is held every semester and it is seriously the best thing that goes down all semester. Let me tell you why-All the clubs prep all day and sell all different kinds of food. You can find ANY kind of food here. There was Tahitian, Samoan, Tongan, Hawaiian, Japanese, Korean, Pasta, sweets, ice cream, and it goes on and on. Food Fest is a huge deal and the entire community comes out to support the clubs and get a great meal! Tonight J and I had a lil Fijian curry, Korean BBQ, Japanese dumplings, etc, etc....SO good! Currently SO FULL. It was such a fun night. There was also entertainment and a group called Rebel Souljahz came and they have cds out and are awesome. They just came out to support our clubs and played some wonderful island music. They are pretty big, so there was quite a turnout for them and everyone was dancing and singing along. The best part was meeting some of J's family. Some of his cousins and his aunty came down from Alaska to visit. I was really excited to meet them because he had lived with them during the summer and I had heard so much about them! It was so fun to just sit around talking with family and enjoying a wonderful night!
