Night out!

J usually works on Saturdays, but yesterday I JUST NEEDED him to be with me. SO, he took the day off and we enjoyed a sunny day at the beach in our back yard. It was FABULOUS. Afterwards J told me to get dressed up because we were going OUT! We headed to town and went to Spaghetti Factory. It was so yum, and so fun to talk about our wedding day (we had a big family dinner at Spaghetti Factory in Utah on the day of our wedding). We actually got to enjoy the food this time! It was so fun! Afterwards, we did a lil window shopping, and some yummy Menchies-a frozen yogurt place where you grab a bowl, pick your flavor, how much you want, which toppings and ENJOY! It was perfect! Random nights out are the best!

So our last weekend was AWESOME! AND so packed. It was such great fun!
Friday: J and I went to a surprise birthday party, where it was successfully a surprise! Afterwards, J and I went to Pearlridge mall and found some killer deals before the mall closed. We got some yummy California Pizza Kitchen, and saw the movie Valentine's Day without it being packed. PERFECT!
Saturday:
We attended a FIESTA at our friend's (Ryan and Chandra) house with people from our ward. TONS of yummy food and even a pinata for the kids to break open! I loved it because the bat they used to open it was taller than ALL the kids and holding it made them lose balance! So cute!

ALSO, on Saturday, they were filming LOST right down the road from our house!

After the party, J and I got all fancy to go out to town for a graduation for my work. Operating Engineers is an apprenticeship program so the apprentices had a graduation where we ate and listened to some musical performers. I found out that my boss, was J's bishop when he was in the single's ward in Laie. Never know that! So they had fun talking. (And then I found out we are related too! -it happens when you marry a Samoan. hahaha)

Sunday:
We had a wonderful day at church. I LOVE our ward! Afterwards, J and I had a Valentine's dinner with the Lautahas. Yummy shrimp alfredo, salad, bread, and chocolate dessert! It was super fun to spend some time with them!

Monday:

We went to Kailua with Ash and Iasi to get some YUMMY burgers at Teddy's Burgers? We ran into Kelly and Caleb so we all had lunch together and caught up! Ash and I saw that Macy's was right around the corner...so of COURSE we had to go. And I got a pair of boots (planning on using them in Utah at some point) for $12!! It was so fun! We went to the movies and tried to stretch out EVERY second of our three day weekend!Us with Kelly & Caleb

Since then:
J and I found out that we will be moving into TVA for spring! YAY!! Cheaper rent! Bigger housing!! We are super excited! Today I got a HAWAIIAN license which means Kama Aina Discount!! It's already almost the weekend again and we are super excited! In a few weeks we will have been married SIX MONTHS! Wow how time flies! I'm loving EVERY moment of it though. I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful guy at my side always and forever. I'm crazy about him! Lovin' life :)

Domestic.

Two things:
Numero Uno-
I've gone all domestic. Not sure why, but I have! I absolutely LOVE sewing all of a sudden, and I have bought TONS of fabric and buttons GALORE. So, J bought me a sewing machine for my birthday....but it never came... Somewhere, Fedex lost my sewing machine....out of the box. We got a box that was supposed to contain the machine and a cover for it, but we only received the cover. And the weight of the box had changed from being 23lbs, to only 4 lbs. Weird! So, good ol' Wal Mart sent us a new one...and it CAME TODAY! So tonight I have spent working on a project I have been working on for awhile....soon to PRESENT! Anyways...I love it. I love that I am taking sewing class and now I have my own machine! Thanks J!
Numero Dos-
BABIES! Not for us tho. Let me make that one clear. No preggo here. ANYWAYS, last week...on the 2nd, J's cousin and his wife had their first baby. He was 8 1/2 lbs. Name: Darius. He is SO cute. We went over on Sunday to meet the lil guy and some more cousins and aunties were there. New babies are so fun! Also, our friends Ashleigh and Suliasi found out they are having a BOY! They are SO excited. So happy for them! J and I love all the babies! But we just want to be Auntie and Uncle right now :)

Dollar.

Sometimes I swear that without knowing it.....this is what happens to our money...

My dad gave me one dollar bill
'Cause I'm his smartest son,
And I swapped it for two shiny quarters
'Cause two is more than one!

And then i took the quarters
And traded them to Lou
For three dimes-i guess he don't know
that three is more than two!

Just them, along came old blind Bates
And just 'cause he can't see
He gave me four nickels for my three dimes,
And four is more than three!

And i took the nickels to Hiram Coombs
Down at the seed-feed store,
and the fool gave me five pennies for them,
And five is more than four!

And then i went and showed my dad,
and he go red in the cheeks
And closed his eyes and shook his head-
