Dear Santa....

I know it's only the beginning of November, but I just wanted you to know that this sweater is something I just adore....

This is it.

For Halloween, we wanted to go see a scary movie, but there weren't any worth seeing once we got to the theater. So instead, we saw This is it! Documentary of Michael Jackson when he was preparing to do his last concert series in the UK. It was AWESOME! We couldn't stop talking about how good he was at singing and dancing and being an entertainer. J and I kept whispering to each other about our memories of MJ while growing up. It was fun to have J tell me about how his drive for dancing started because of MJ's sweet moves. And after he told me this, I realized that I HAVE seen lil familiar moves whenever J is dancing! It was so fun to see the movie!
We miss you MJ. You are the king of music.

farmers market

Today while I was perusing around campus waiting for J to finish class, I came upon a pleasant surprise in the school snackbar, SEASIDER! There is a farmers market held in the snack bar every other friday. There were tons of fruits, vegetables, even fish. It was awesome. Everything was such a great price! MUCH cheaper than the ON SALE stuff at Foodland. So we stocked up on what we could (which actually isn't alot because may I remind you, we have a mini fridge). But it was fun, and now we can get vegetables for a good price regularly! Love the freshness!

my ruby.

Today a fun little thing came in the mail for me. It's my new little ruby red! J and I have realized that it is very hard for us to both do homework for our computer classes with only one laptop! So, of course, I needed a new one! And a cheap one :) So we settled on my lil ruby red Acer. It's TINY! Good thing I have little fingers! It easily fits on a piece of paper, and its SUPER light.

This made my entire day...

I have been in Laie for 3 years, and today I just realized that there is a tiny Korean restaurant just down the road from our house. Future life in Laie just got much better :)

Simple Satisfactions....

I love that I just taught J to braid my hair.
I love that we cook s'mores over our one burner.
I love that J made yummy alfredo tonight.
I love that he rubs my feet whenever he wants to talk.
I love riding my bike.
I love cold water.
I love my pomegranate candle that doesn't really do anything but make me feel better inside.
I love our tv trays that are used as kitchen counters, desks, dinner tables, shelves...
I love individual instant pudding packets on clearance.
I love family phone calls.
I love to hear him say "my wife"
I love my better half.

- I haven't had anything yet, so how can I have some more of nothing?

- These are s'mores stuff.
- Okay, pay attention.

You stick the chocolate on the graham.
- Then you roast the 'mallow.
-When the 'mallow's flaming,
-You stick it on the chocolate.
- Then...you cover it with the other end.
- Then you stuff.
- I don't like that chocolate stuff.

Well, I never thought I would come across such a sad story, but my husband has never had the delicious experience of a s'more. So of COURSE, I did what anyone would do, and had to show him the ropes. I think he's got it down now :)
